As the National March for Palestinians organized by Stop the War Coalition on Saturday 11 November 2023 proceeded on the main route this image captures the moment that a group of Jewish campaigners who were calling for peace intersects at a road junction with the main march. As the light shines from behind the Jewish campaigners the groups merge with a burst of solidarity as a joint roar ripples through the crowd.
Suella Braverman described the demonstrators taking in the National marches for Palestine who took to the streets in support of a ceasefire in Gaza as being involved in “hate marches”.
