Ladypool Road
Past & Present

Welcome to Ladypool Rd Past & Present is a disposable camera project I ran with a group of women from SHARE Community Project, a community initiative based along the vibrant Alum Rock Road in East Birmingham.

Together, we created a photo series by taking a series of photo walks along the High Street, using Fotofilm Ultramax 400 disposable cameras. We then curated the images into a series, which we used to produce a photozine.

Below are selected images from this collaborative project.

We used the Fotofilm Ultramax 400 disposable cameras which has 27 frames and a flash if required. We found it was easy to use and works best on a bright day we didn't use the flash. Comes in single pack or a pack of 10 which was great for project work.
